Thanksgiving is here, my lovely friends, and that means it's time to pick out the perfect outfit to celebrate with family and friends!
I know that every family celebrates Thanksgiving a little bit differently, so I thought I'd give you a few different outfits for fashion inspiration. My husband's family, for example, gets very dressed up for Thanksgiving, while my family stays very casual. So I figured I would give every one of you a classic look to wear no matter how fancy your Thanksgiving meal will be! Hair and Makeup
I think you guys know me well enough by now to know that it doesn't matter how fancy or casual my Thanksgiving meal is, I would still do a full face of makeup and a lovely hairstyle! I wore this look with all of the outfits below and I think it complements them all. This beautiful hair clip (which I purchased at Walgreens!) is perfect because the burnished gold is very seasonally appropriate while also being useful for keeping my hair out of my face while I'm eating turkey and stuffing. I mean, you've gotta make sure you can eat as much as you want on a holiday known for the food!
As for the makeup, I did something similar to my Thanksgiving Makeup Tutorial, an orange look with glitter. The look is slightly different because, hey, I'm still using the Tati Beauty palette and I am having fun trying out different looks with it! But I love the idea of a warm eyeshadow look on Thanksgiving - it really fits in with the whole warm and fuzzy vibe. Plus, your eyeshadow is more likely to make it through a whole day of socializing and eating than a bright lipstick is! Look #1: Fancy Thanksgiving
This year, Jacob and I will be visiting his family for Thanksgiving. My in-laws' tradition is to get dressed up, look lovely, and then change into comfy pajamas after stuffing ourselves with turkey. As someone who appreciates getting to wear fancy clothes but also wants to be able to change into sweatpants after eating, this is my ideal Thanksgiving.
Of course, I started with a pumpkin-colored dress to honor the spirit of the holiday! I bought this dress from H&M a couple of years ago, but I linked some similar options down below. One of the things I like about it is the modest cut of neckline and the hemline, while also having a unique flair with the cute ruffled shoulders. It's all about the cut, ladies, so make sure a dress like this fits you well! Then I put on a gold belt to cinch and define the waist. I finished off this first outfit with a pair of black pumps for a couple of reasons. The first is that I like a closed-toe shoe during this season so I can wear tights if the weather takes a turn for the worse. The second reason is that I wanted to bring more attention to my jewelry, my belt, and my hair barrette than to my shoes. And voila! You are set for a fancy Thanksgiving meal. Look #2: Dressy Thanksgiving
Is your Thanksgiving meal somewhere between fancy and casual? Then this is the look for you. I call this "dressy" because it's not simply fancy, but it does have some fancy elements.
First, I chose this sweater because I think a cowl neck like this is flattering on pretty much anyone. I also love wearing sweaters in the fall, and not having to wrap a scarf around your shoulders at the Thanksgiving table is always a plus. I then chose a pair of pink cigarette pants. These are dressier than a pair of jeans, but not as fancy as a skirt. The fabric has a little bit of shine and elevates the simple sweater. I paired this outfit with a pair of nude heels and then chose some unique, modern accessories to give this essentially neutral look a little bit of flair. Look #3: Casual Thanksgiving
Having a casual Thanksgiving with your family? Want to be able to eat whatever you want without having to worry about it? WEAR A PONCHO.
Ponchos are God's gift to women on holidays. We can eat to our hearts' content and not a bump or lump will show through our outfit. This green one was gift from my husband when we were in Ireland, andyou can purchase it here. I absolutely love this poncho because it's so soft and the color is so unique, but on this holiday, any poncho will do! I then put on a pair of bootcut jeans because who wants to wear skinny jeans on a food-centric day? I invested a little more energy in my accessories. I gave my casual outfit just that extra bit of classic style by wearing a pair of navy heels and a leatherstrap watch. The tortoise-shell earrings are fun and fit with a more casual look like this. I hope you all of the best Thanksgiving, and let me know: What kind of Thanksgiving are you having and what outfit are you wearing? We also try to make sure all of our clothes will go with several different pieces, that way the clothing can be worn more times without seeming the same.

Leather jackets are one the most versatile and fashionable pieces that a person can own. They have firmly established themselves in the fashion industry with a long history on record just like jeans. They have numerous reasons why they have remained a favourite for many over the years.
